If so, you should take a closer look at this charming red-painted wooden house, located on a quiet road only 400 metres from Bratten Beach and the Kattegat.

Welcome inside
This 69 m² house has stood here on Kuskevej 5 since 1972, and after its most recent renova­tion in 2024, it has found the perfect balance between classic holiday home charm and modern indoor comfort. The layout includes a bathroom and three bedrooms with a total of five beds, as well as an ad­di­tio­nal room with a desk should you need a quiet space to work during your stay. A well-equipped and spacious kitchen is in­te­gra­ted with the living room, making it easy to call for a helping hand so several of you can join in the cooking. Both the dining area and the sofa corner are inviting spots to gather, and if it’s not Ludo or crossword puzzles keeping you en­tertai­ned in the evening, you can watch a film together on the Apple TV.

Enjoy life outside
The 2,500 m² natural plot is a wonderful oasis when the tem­pe­ra­tu­res are mild and the holiday spirit fills the air. The partially covered terrace invites you to soak up the sunshine in complete re­laxa­tion, and you can also take a coffee and your favourite book out to the lawn. The grass offers plenty of room for physical acti­vi­ties, with op­portu­ni­ties for family games of badminton and ba­sket­ball, while the youngest guests can burn off energy on the tram­po­li­ne. The bright summer evenings are also perfect for spending outdoors, and the day’s last meal can quite fittingly be prepared on the gas grill.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The quiet Kuskevej is a pleasant and peaceful place to spend your holiday days. The holiday home is set back from the road on the large natural plot, and it’s only about 400 metres to the coast – a perfect distance for a short stroll to the beach. Bratten Beach is known as a family-friendly beach with white sand and clear bathing water – and if you get up early enough, you can look forward to the most beautiful sunrises over the water. Strandby is a charming town to visit, with its marina, cosy old town, and great eateries. You can also easily head to Skagen or Fre­de­riks­havn when you’re not simply enjoying holiday life in the beautiful North Jutland nature.

Remember that at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Ålbæk you can always borrow handcarts, hig­h­chairs, and cots. You can pick them up directly at our office and return them again once your holiday has come to an end.
