Welcome inside
The large windows in the holiday home give you views of the sur­ro­un­ding dune landscape, so even when you’re sitting in a com­fortab­le armchair with your afternoon coffee, you can still feel connected to nature. The wood-burning stove is perfect for lighting when the season calls for extra warmth, and in the open kitchen, you can prepare eve­ryt­hing from summery salads to more hearty meals, depending on the weather and your appetite. The layout includes two good bedrooms, where you and your loved ones can look forward to long mornings, and in the morning, you can freshen up with a shower in the bathroom before the holiday day truly begins.

Enjoy life outside
Out in the fresh air, you’ll find two lovely terrace areas for enjoying the art of re­laxa­tion. You can enjoy the day’s first sunshine on the east-facing terrace, and later move around to the other side of the house – and if you have no other plans, you can stay in these peaceful and scenic sur­ro­un­dings until bedtime. Both terraces are enclosed, and the west-facing one has a covered area that’s also a pleasant spot to sit. The idyll is only enhanced by the fact that the road ends right by the house, and the North Sea is so close that you can probably feel the fresh, salty air and perhaps even hear the rolling waves while you relax in the garden chair.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
From the holiday home, it’s easy to explore the scenic sur­ro­un­dings – espe­ci­al­ly Kan­de­ste­der­ne Beach, where you can swim in the North Sea, admire the view from the tops of the dunes, and play on the beautiful sandy beach. It’s permitted to drive on the beach, and if the water level isn’t too high, you can take the specta­cu­lar drive to Skiveren Beach a bit further along the coast. If you’d like to take the family out for a meal, you can walk to Hjorths Badehotel or drive to Skagen, which is just a 15-minute car ride away. One of North Jutland’s major at­tra­ctions, the migrating dune Råbjerg Mile, is just a couple of ki­lo­metres away, making it the perfect op­portu­ni­ty to lace up your hiking shoes and head out into the stunning nature.

Remember that at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Ålbæk you can always borrow handcarts, hig­h­chairs, and cots. You can pick them up directly at our office and return them again once your holiday has come to an end.
