Cosy holiday house with a scenic view close to lovely beach

Ex­pe­ri­en­ce Veddinge hills and stay in a cosy holiday house close to one of the area’s lovely beaches. Here is the basis for spoiling yourself as well as your family.

Interior
Open kitchen with good dining space and access to a big, light reception room with a sofa bed from where you can watch the sea and the beautiful sunset. 2 nice bedrooms with good storage and a com­fortab­le bathroom with shower. Opposite the seaside of the house, there is a big, spacious terrace where you can enjoy the sun or put a freshly caught fish on the barbecue after a gorgeous day on the beach. The children will love a walk in the hilly landscape.

Location / the area
The house is located at the top of the Ice Age ridge. From here you have the full panoramic view of the sea and the trees on the large secluded plot. Suitable for 4-6 persons and if wanted, a dog, for a lovely holiday in Odsherred. Close to nice sandy beaches, an­tiqui­ties, boroughs, shopping centres, ports, the waterpark and amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland, Odsherred Zoo Rescue and a lot more.

In a 10 minutes-walk from the house you find our wild somewhat stony beach. Or you can drive to Høve Strand (4 km), a sandy beach with dunes. Visit the deflation plan­ta­tion, eat nice fish, do crab fishing and have an ice cream in Rørvig. Also Odden and Havnsø have nice maritime at­mosp­he­res. You can visit Dragsholm Slot and eat great food there, swim by Sand­dob­ber­ne or visit the many burial mounds, for example Vejrhøj which gives you the view of the entire Sejerøbugt.

You also find the beautiful forests Sonnerup and Kongsøre, the boroughs Nykøning Sjælland and Holbæk, offering a lot of cafés and shopping. Close to Nykøning you find a museum of An­tiqui­ties with a replica of Solvognen, and close to Holbæk the living hi­sto­ri­cal coo­pe­ra­ti­ve village Nyvang and the museum of local history.

In Asnæs you find a large shopping centre (6 km), a public indoor swimming pool, museums of art, and trains for Co­pen­ha­gen. There are cinemas in both Vig (10 km) and Holbæk. At 4 km from El­le­bak­ken you find Odsherred Zoo Rescue and at 15 km the water and amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland. During summer the area offers arts exhi­bi­tions, concerts, farm shops, fishing trips and a lot more. There are ferries from Havnsø to Sejerø. A lot of different bicycle and hiking paths. Walk among the sheep at Ordrup Næs or visit the contorted coastline in Klint.

From Asnæs to Co­pen­ha­gen by train it takes app. 1.5 hours, by car 1 hour and 15 min.
