Interior
The house contains a lovely light lounge with wood burner, heat pump, TV and a bed recess that sleeps 2. The open and modern kitchen has a dishwasher and an induction cooker. There are 4 good bedrooms, 2 of them with double beds, 1 with a single bed and a bunk bed, and 1 with a single bed and ample storage. Furthermore there are 2 nice bathrooms and an activity room with billiards and table tennis. From the lounge there is access to the huge wooden terrace where you can enjoy the sun and watch the deer regularly crossing the garden. You will love the wilderness tub that invites to relaxation in wonderful surroundings.
Location / the area
The holiday house is located in a quiet area only 950m from a perfect child-friendly sandy beach. Højby Lyng is a part of the scenic Geopark Odsherred which is Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find an abundance of exciting attractions and fantastic event-routes in the unique landscape. Try f. inst. a walk to Korevlerne or around Højby Lake with horses at your heels. In Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde you can buy fresh fish and other specialities, and you can take the Molslinjen ferry to Aarhus. Nykøbing Sjælland offers really good opportunities for shopping with several independent shops selling local produce and handicraft art. Football golf in Nørre Asmindrup, Hempel Glass Museum with the workshop GlasSpiren for children or Odsherred Museum with the local history of the region are certainly also worth a visit. The children will love a day in the amusement park Sommerland Sjælland which has been elected Denmark’s best activity for children.
