Idyllic countryside holiday home on Samsø with room for 8 people

Between fields and cosy villages is this lovely house with plenty of space for 8 guests, so the whole family can enjoy the holiday, tranquillity and fresh air on Samsø.

Welcome inside
We look forward to welcome you and your family to this lovely house on Samsø, centrally located on the island. The house is a nice and rural house that is functional and cosy.

In the kitchen you can prepare good meals together, and you can sit around the round table and enjoy your morning coffee or lunch. The living room also has a larger dining table with room for everyone. There are also windows that let in plenty of light, and you can look out into the garden and fields. The living room also has a cosy sofa corner where you can gather to play a game or enjoy a cup of coffee.

On the ground floor are 3 bedrooms that are bright and spacious with plenty of closet space and windows facing the fields, so it's completely quiet when you go to sleep. Next to the bedrooms are also two good-sized bathrooms, providing extra comfort for all guests in the house.

The hallway is a dividing space between the ground floor and the first floor. It's also practical and functional when you enter the front door after a day of outdoor adventures or when you arrive with all your holiday supplies.

From the hallway, a staircase leads up to the first floor, where a large and lovely space awaits you, offering many opportunities for cosiness, relaxation and spending hours together. The large living room on the first floor is furnished with sofas where you can lounge and relax or switch on the TV. There are also armchairs and a desk, so you can always find a cosy spot to read a book or plan your day's adventures. In addition to the ample space on the first floor, there's also a fantastic view of the fields and life on southern Samsø.

On the first floor there is also another lovely and bright room for those who want a view and plenty of space in their bedroom. Next to this room is a third toilet, so practicality and comfort have been taken into account for everyone who spend time or stay overnight on the first floor of the house.

You can look forward to a holiday in this house, which can be the setting for your peaceful and rural holiday on Samsø.

Enjoy life outside
The house is located in rural surroundings on a country road between the villages of Brundby and Ørby. The house has good outdoor areas and plenty of space for playing and relaxing. In front of the house is a grassy garden with a good east-facing terrace where you can enjoy the sun all morning. Behind the house is a small courtyard with grass and fruit trees. Here you can find shelter or pick apples when they are in season.

Behind an outbuilding is another lovely west-facing terrace. It's a great place to sit in the evening and enjoy the last rays of the day with a view of the fields and maybe spot a deer or hare passing by.

In the outbuilding you'll also find a washing machine, extra storage space, a freezer and a sink. This is the ideal place to clean fish if you've been out fishing on the coast of Samsø.

Get close to local experiences
The house is centrally located on Samsø and is close to cosy villages, the coast and forest.

Just 1 kilometre from the house is Brundby Rock Hotel, which is known for its cosy setting and concerts all year round. In Brundby there are also several small shops and the old mill, from which there is a fantastic view all the way to the water. Ballen is only 3 kilometres from the house, and during the summer months there is a wide selection of restaurants and shops, as well as plenty of life in the marina. There's also a lovely sandy beach, so you can quickly go for a dip.

Within 10 minutes drive you reach Tranebjerg, where you find several grocery and speciality shops, as well as the Samsø Museum and tourist information centre. Here you can easily get more inspiration for your holiday experiences.

On the southern part of Samsø is Brattingsborg Castle, which is beautifully surrounded by the forest. It's great to go for a walk in the forest and end up by the sea. Close to Brattingsborg forest is also Vesborg Lighthouse. It's a great experience to go up to the lighthouse, where you can see all the way to Zealand, Funen and Jutland.

The northern part of Samsø also offers many experiences. Visit the charming and cosy town of Nordby, where you can enjoy a good lunch. You can also go for a walk in the beautiful hilly landscape of Nordby Bakker. Visit Issehoved, the northernmost point on Samsø.
