In southern Samsø, you’ll find many charming villages with small shops, cafés, and galleries. Visit, for example, Besser north of Ballen or Brundby with the legendary Rockhotel, hosting concerts year-round. Just 6 ki­lo­metres from the holiday home is Tra­neb­jerg, the island’s largest town, offering good shopping, Samsø Museum, and the tourist in­for­ma­tion centre.

The island is perfect for cycling, allowing you to explore its many quaint towns and ex­pe­ri­en­ce Samsø’s unique charm. On the northern part of the island, bre­ath­taking nature awaits, and a walk through Nordby Bakker is not to be missed – a unique Ice Age landscape with beautiful hiking trails and views over Issehoved, Samsø’s nort­her­n­most point.
