We look forward to welcoming you and the whole family to this lovely holiday home on southern Samsø. There's room for the whole family with several dogs. In the tranquil surroundings, you can enjoy the view of the fields.
Welcome inside
In this house, the focus is on making sure there's room for everyone, children, adults and dogs are all very welcome here, allowing you all to holiday together and simply enjoy the rural surroundings.
The house is decorated in a functional and cosy way with two good living rooms and a gathering room. One living room has a dining table where you can easily set the table for all your holiday meals. There's also a sofa in front of the wood-burning stove, so it's easy to get cosy and warm. From the living room there is direct access to the large south-facing terrace. When the weather is nice, this terrace becomes almost like an extra living space where it's perfect to sit outside with your holiday meals.
Next to it is another living room where you can lounge on the comfortable sofa and switch on the TV. This living room invites you all to relax and unwind with a good film or game.
The kitchen is functional and you can easily prepare all your meals here, and at the same time spend time with those who have made themselves comfortable at the dining table in the kitchen. Here again, functionality and cosiness are in mind, as you can enjoy cooking together or relax with your morning coffee in the kitchen.
The house has 4 spacious bedrooms suitable for both adults and children. The rooms have good double beds and storage space so you can spread out as you please. The bedrooms also have a smaller but functional bathroom, so everything is ready for you to enjoy a wonderful holiday here.

Enjoy life outside
The house is peacefully located at the end of a gravel road. This means you can enjoy fantastic views of the fields, where deer and hares often pass by. Next door is another house where the owners themselves live. So you can be completely undisturbed and let the dogs run free in the fenced garden.
In addition to the garden with a good sized lawn for playing and relaxing, there is a large terrace with direct access from the living room. On the terrace, there is plenty of garden furniture where you can sit and eat together and even cook your meals on the open barbecue. The terrace also has great lounge garden furniture and a large hammock, which you're sure to enjoy a good afternoon nap in. There is also an enclosure with goats and chickens at the house. If you want to say hello to the farm animals, they are also friendly neighbours to the house and your holiday.
Get up close to the local attractions
The house is located on southern Samsø, close to the eastern coast. Just 1.5 kilometres from the house is the beach, where it's great to walk down and enjoy the water and, if you're up early, even the sunrise. Close to the house is Brattingsborg Forest, a beautiful forest located close to the coast where you can go for some lovely walks. Also visit Vesborg Lighthouse, where you can climb up and enjoy the spectacular view over southern Samsø and all the way to Jutland, Funen and Zealand.
Samsø has many cosy villages with local shops, cafés and galleries. It's easy to drive or cycle around and experience these. In Ørby you'll find Hundesjov, where your dogs can be activated on holiday.
The harbour town of Ballen is also a few kilometres from the house, and in the summer there is plenty of activity with a wide selection of restaurants.
If you head further north, Langør is also a charming little harbour town with a beautiful view of Stauns Fjord. Don't miss out on a visit to the cosy town of Nordby. Here you can enjoy lunch or an ice-cream by the lovely street pond. In Nordby Bakker you can also go for some beautiful walks in the slightly hilly landscape. Issehoved is the northernmost point of Samsø, where you can see where the Kattegat meets.
