Welcome to Birkely – a cozy and well-equipped wooden holiday home with a wood-burning stove, a large and lovely garden, and a wonderful location on the northern tip of Salling.

Welcome inside
The atmosphere is warm and inviting inside this well-maintained 52 m2 holiday home, which accommodates four people. At night, you can settle into the two bedrooms, or use the sofa bed in the living room. When it’s time for a shower, the bathroom has you covered. Cooking, dining, board games, and other cosy activities all take place in the living room with its integrated kitchen area. It’s a great space to be in, whether you’re enjoying time together or relaxing individually with an exciting book or the newspaper. If you want to watch a movie, the TV has Chromecast built in, and with both the wood-burning stove and heat pump, you can look forward to a comfortable indoor temperature.

Enjoy life outside
The large glass section in the living room includes a garden door to the terrace, making it easy to step outside as soon as the weather allows. The terrace is partially covered, so you don’t have to move indoors if the dew falls—you can simply stay outside and enjoy the bright summer evening. If grilling and relaxing on the terrace aren’t on the agenda, but playing and ball games are, there’s plenty of space to have fun in the large green garden.

Get up close to the local attractions
Birkely is located in a quiet holiday home area near Salling’s northern coast. There is a playground with a ball field nearby, and a path leads down to the Limfjord if you feel like taking a dip. The fishing opportunities in the area are good—for example, at Sæbygårds Hage, where there are great chances to catch sea trout. Close by you’ll also find Grynderup Lake, a lovely excursion spot with hiking trails, a birdwatching tower, and a cable ferry. It’s also a great idea to take the ferry to Fur during your stay here, and you can also visit Jesperhus Flower Park on Mors or National Park Thy and the North Sea coast.

The Limfjord is characterized by a hilly terrain with many beautiful views over Denmark's largest fjord. Here you will find small and large islands, local ferry connections, beautiful bridges, and cozy market towns with small marinas. The fjord, with its many beaches, is surrounded by plantations, fields, and cliffs, which forms the basis for unique nature experiences, on foot, by bike, by boat or by car. The flat, gently sloping beaches are perfect for families with children.
