Cozy summer house in peaceful, scenic Limfjord surroundings
House-ID: LF14144Sunny days on the terrace, hot cocoa by the wood stove, walks along the Limfjord, and outings in the beautiful Salling countryside. Whatever your holiday plans include, you can look forward to wonderful days in this cozy summer house at Knud Strand.
Welcome inside
The summer house has stood here in the beautiful Limfjord surroundings since 1960, but much has changed since then. Both the kitchen and bathroom have been replaced, and overall the house is neat and well-maintained. Among the modern additions is ultra-fast fiber internet, and in the living room, there is a Google TV with streaming apps. The wood stove provides classic summer house coziness for evenings indoors, while the large windows bring in plenty of natural light and offer views of the natural grounds during the day. In addition to the open kitchen, living room, and bathroom, the layout includes three good bedrooms with sleeping space for six people, giving you a comfortable and spacious setting for the family holiday.
Enjoy life outside
Both young and old will enjoy playing and relaxing on the 4,650 m² natural plot. Around the house, there are several lovely terraces to choose from, and you can also gather around the fire pit if you’ve brought supplies to make s’mores and twisted bread on sticks. For the children, there is a swing set, and the whole family can have fun playing ball or frisbee on the lawn.
Get up close to the local attractions
The small summer house area at Knud Strand is a perfect holiday destination if you want to slow down, as peace and tranquility prevail on the small, scenic roads. The beach has been a popular spot for local swimmers for many decades, and it’s easy to see why once you’ve jumped into the Limfjord from the bathing jetty. From the summer house, it’s only 150 meters to the stairs leading down the coastal slope to the child-friendly beach—and if the weather isn’t right for swimming, you can instead do cartwheels, take long walks, and enjoy the view over Kås Bredning. Just 2.5 km away lies Spøttrup Castle, one of Denmark’s best-preserved medieval castles, hosting markets and other exciting holiday activities throughout the year. Rødding has a supermarket and dining options, and Skive is only a 20-minute drive away if you want to visit a larger town.
