The days can be spent in calm with a swim, a walk, and a sub­sequent nap in a garden chair in the stunning fjord sur­ro­un­dings, but there are also op­portu­ni­ties to enjoy nature more actively. If you bring bikes, you can take trips through Salling’s lovely landscape, and it is also recom­men­ded to bring surfing gear and fishing equipment. Anglers can visit Karup Å or Skive Å, both nearby — and if you catch a trout, it’s con­ve­ni­ent that there is a fish cleaning station in the summer house. Families with children will surely ap­pre­ci­a­te the short distance to Jesperhus Flower Park and the open-air museum Hjerl Hede, as well as being only 30 minutes from Cold Hawaii.
