The closed Vestergårdsvej is a wonderful place to spend your holiday. Here, you can stay in this charming summer house, which is situated on a large and secluded nature plot close to Vråby Plantation and just a couple of kilometers from the beautiful Sønderstrand.

Welcome inside
The red-painted wooden summer house has been in the scenic landscape since 1963, and it is clear to see both inside and out that it has been well cared for over the years. For instance, the kitchen has been modernized, providing you with a lovely and functional setting for cooking, and the furnishings in the adjacent living room have also been updated. You can look forward to enjoying delicious meals at the dining table and complete relaxation in the sofa area with a good book or an exciting movie. If it’s cool outside, you can light the wood stove, which not only warms the space but also significantly enhances the cozy atmosphere. A nice bathroom is part of the layout, and when the evening comes to an end and teeth brushing is done, you can look forward to a good night’s sleep in the three comfortable bedrooms.

Enjoy life outside
On three sides of the summer house, tiled terraces have been laid out, making it easy to find a sunny spot to relax in all day long. No matter where you sit, you can feel the peace, listen to the chirping of the forest birds, and enjoy the view of the greenery on the 2,500 m² nature plot.

Get up close to the local attractions
Everything is peaceful and idyllic on the closed road, which is located amid the most beautiful natural surroundings between forest and heath. As an extra plus, you live conveniently close to Sønderstrand, which is considered one of Europe’s widest sandy beaches and is known as a great place to engage in various forms of wind sports like kite buggying and blokarting. Here at the southern end of Rømø, there are also opportunities to rent bicycles, go horseback riding, and play both golf and mini-golf. Along the coast, you can enjoy the fantastic view over the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a unique tidal area. You can admire the panoramic view from the waterfront in Havneby, and from there, there is even the opportunity to take a ferry for a pleasant excursion to the neighboring island of Sylt.
