Stylishly decorated cottage on a large natural plot in Kongsmark
House-ID: 2502Secluded natural surroundings, idyllic peace on the terrace, and cozy indoor facilities. This stylish cottage in Kongsmark provides you with a fantastic base for enjoying holiday days far away from the busy everyday life.
Welcome inside
The black-painted wooden house has stood here in the greenery since 1961, and in 2017 it was successfully modernized, providing a bright and lovely interior, while the rooms exude classic summer cottage coziness. Even when you are relaxing indoors, you have good contact with nature, as the windows offer views of the tall trees on the property— and you might even see a deer or other wildlife cautiously passing by while you enjoy your morning coffee at the dining table. In the living room, the skylights invite plenty of sunshine indoors, and the wood stove contributes to a warm and cozy atmosphere, while the open kitchen provides a practical setting for cooking. Additionally, there is a shower room and two good bedrooms in the cottage, and if you and your loved ones want more space, you will find an extra bedroom with a single bed and a guest toilet in the annex.
Enjoy life outside
If you love peace and quietness, you will surely be thrilled by the outdoor areas of the house, as the natural plot is not only large but also well set back from the road— and it is delightfully secluded thanks to the vegetation of trees and shrubs. An outdoor shower has been installed next to the annex, allowing you to take a morning shower under the open sky to the sounds of birdsong and rustling treetops. The terrace area is suitably large, featuring both a covered section and a completely open area, and for the children, there is a swing set and plenty of space to play in the beautiful green surroundings.
Get up close to the local attractions
The cottage is perfectly located if you are looking for a tranquil base but also want the opportunity for exciting and scenic excursions. From Kongsmark, it is easy to cross Rømø to swim in the North Sea and play on Lakolk Beach, which is one of Europe’s widest sandy beaches. On walking and cycling trips, you can explore the Kirkeby Tree plantation, and for example, you can head towards Spidsbjerg to enjoy the view over the beautiful Wadden Sea island. If you want to get up close to the Wadden Sea, which holds a prestigious place on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, you can go on a guided oyster safari— and if you prefer grill sausages and marsh lamb, you are less than a kilometer from Rømø’s good butcher.
