Close to Sønder­strand and Vråby tree plan­ta­tion, you will find this beau­ti­ful­ly mo­der­nized cottage, which can ac­com­moda­te ten holiday guests spread over two levels. The living areas are spacious, and the bathrooms include a hot tub and sauna that make your holiday days extra luxurious.

Welcome inside
The thatched cottage was built in 1970, but it is clear, that much has happened both inside and out since then. The most recent renova­tion took place in 2015, when the two bathrooms were mo­der­nized, and the beautiful open kitchen is also newer. Indoors, you have a total of 181 m² spread over two levels, so there is plenty of room for an extended family or several friends. Four of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor, where the two bathrooms with a spa and sauna are also situated. The fifth and largest bedroom is on the first floor, extending from a lovely living room, which, like the kitchen-dining area on the ground floor, is equipped with both a wood stove and a heat pump. A lively game of foosball can also warm you up if you need to move a bit after dinner.

Enjoy life outside
The plot measures 3.000 m², providing plenty of space for outdoor acti­vi­ties – and thanks to the ve­ge­ta­tion, you can enjoy time outside quite privately. This is espe­ci­al­ly true in the sun yard, which is com­ple­te­ly enclosed by masonry, making it perfect if you have dogs or small ad­ven­tu­rous children with you on holiday. The yard faces south, so it is a lovely and sunny oasis, complete with an outdoor shower, a grill, and com­fortab­le garden furniture.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
It’s natural to spend a good portion of your holiday in the local area, which offers beautiful forests, heaths, and beaches – and, of course, the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site as one of the planet’s most important tidal areas. If not all your time is going to be spent in Vråby tree plan­ta­tion or on Sønder­strand beach, there are many other acti­vi­ties to enjoy: for example you can play golf on Rømø Golf Club’s 18-hole links course, and in the village of Havneby, you can rent bicycles, try the family-friendly acti­vi­ties at Rømø’s Play and Maze Park, shop, and take the ferry to the neig­h­bor­ing German island of Sylt. If you wish to head to the mainland, you can drive over the 9.2 km long causeway, and from there, it’s not far to Skærbækcentret, where there is a water park.
