Welcome inside
The holiday house is a small gem in the Trolle forest between Nykøbing and Rørvig, perfect for relaxation. Here you may enjoy reading, playing games or baking. Alternatively, just sit down and look out of the big windows to spot deer or squirrels. The house offers a dining room and a living room, both with a view of the green surroundings.
Enjoy life outside
The big nature plot has five places, where you can enjoy the outdoor life, whether it is after a game of badminton, pole tennis or croquet. If the weather is not up to its best, the two covered terraces are perfect to find shelter on and also to extend the day with a cosy evening. The plot offers versatile nature with flowers and the possibility to dwell on biodiversity.
Get close to the local attractions
Go for a walk to the beach by Kattegat, only a few hundred metres from the holiday house, through the beautiful forest Rørvig Sandflugtsplantage with pine trees, dune heath and a wide sandy beach. Also take a trip to Rørvig, where you can find good eating places and experience the local history on the church yard by Rørvig Church. Here, amongst others, captain Alf Trolle who participated in the Denmark Expedition to Greenland, and the Nobel-Prize winning author Henrik Pontoppidan are buried.
From Rørvig harbour you may take the ferry to Hundested, or you can cycle or walk on the Fjord Path, encircling the Isefjord and Roskilde Fjord. The Fjord Path is 230km long and offers scenic views and various paths, well suited for cyclists as well as walkers. A tour towards north-east leads to Skansehage peninsula with lovely water for a swim and an open landscape, where you can enjoy the view of the coast and Kattegat. If you continue along the coastline of Kattegat, you reach Korshage, a protected nature area in the north-eastern part of Odsherred, from where you may walk around the Dybesø Lake and back along the forest or the impressive Højsandet dune.
