Welcome inside
If you need to take the days entirely at your own pace, the living room is a wonderful retreat. The ceiling is vaulted, and light wooden paneling adorns the walls. Through the southeast-facing window, you can see straight out to the Wadden Sea and watch the ferry making its regular route between Rømø and the neighboring island of Sylt. The kitchen is integrated into the space, so it’s just a few steps from the sofa to the coffee machine when you need to fill your cup. The ground plan includes a tidy bathroom and three bedrooms, allowing for gatherings of up to six guests indoors.
Enjoy life outside
Outside, there are two lovely balconies to choose from, so there’s a great chance of finding a nice sunlit spot on the outdoor area. The southeast-facing balcony will probably be your preferred choice early in the day – and perhaps later too if you want to sit enjoying the view of the Wadden Sea, which holds a prestigious spot on UNESCO's World Heritage list. The surroundings are not only picturesque but also offer fun entertainment for the whole family: there’s a playground for the youngest, and in the common areas, you have access to a pétanque court, table tennis, and various types of ball courts.
Get up close to the local attractions
From the apartment, it’s easy to get around in the southern part of Rømø – whether you want to stroll into the heart of Havneby or take your bike or car to the beautiful Sønderstrand. A walk in the peaceful Vråby tree plantation or a round of golf at the nearby golf course is also easily doable, and if you want to get to know the Wadden Sea better, you can take part in a guided oyster safari. From Havneby, you can also easily explore other parts of Rømø, including the family-friendly Lakolk Beach and the viewpoint Spidsbjerg.
