Description
When you stay in this holiday apartment, you'll be elevated above Havneby’s central square, enjoying views of the Wadden Sea from two directions as well as Listerdyb toward Sylt. The attractive location is certainly not the only quality of this place; the apartment itself is bright and lovely, and it also offers great accessibility for both wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
Welcome inside
The apartment is located on the second and top floor of a newly built property from 2020, and access to it can be made via an elevator. Inside, the atmosphere is light and airy, as the large windows provide delightful natural light, while the high ceilings and muted color tones harmonize beautifully. The accessible design of the holiday home means, among other things, that there are wide doors, a specially designed kitchen, and no troublesome steps when moving between rooms or going out onto the balcony. There is also plenty of space in the apartment – this applies to the two bedrooms, the bathroom, and the open-plan living area, where the living room and kitchen are connected. As an additional practical detail, there is a sofa bed in the living room, allowing a total of six guests to stay in the holiday home. Furthermore, in one of the bedrooms, there is a flexible adjustable bed.
Enjoy life outside
The south-facing balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunny weather and warm summer temperatures, while the north-facing hallway is more shaded. From both outdoor areas, you can enjoy views of the water while also keeping an eye on Havneby’s central square with its shops and relaxed holiday atmosphere. Finally, it's worth mentioning that there is a designated parking space included with the apartment.
Get up close to the local attractions
With such an address, you have practical conveniences and charming holiday activities right nearby. Havneby’s well-stocked supermarket and the local bakery are just across from the apartment, so you can quickly grab breakfast bread and take care of daily shopping – and if you prefer to dine out, there’s a good selection of eateries to choose from in town. If you fancy a cozy outing, you can take the ferry from Havneby to List: the neighboring island of Sylt offers many great experiences, and during the ferry ride, you will have ample opportunity to admire the Wadden Sea, which holds a prestigious spot on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Rømø’s expansive sandy beaches, beautiful heather landscapes, and rich birdlife are also worth experiencing, providing excellent reasons to explore the island's winding roads and soak in the landscape.
