Description
This summer house is stylishly furnished with a spa and sauna in the bathroom, a wood-burning stove in the living room, and lovely, sun-drenched terraces on the property. As an added bonus, it is beautifully located near the Wadden Sea and Havneby’s excellent selection of restaurants and activities – making it a delightful place for a holiday.
Welcome inside
Light streams in through the large south-west facing windows in the living area, which go from floor to ceiling. This contributes to the pleasant atmosphere, positively enhanced by the high ceilings and tasteful furnishings. In the living area, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen open to the living room, which charmingly features a wood-burning stove. If it’s cold outside, you can supplement the warmth with underfloor heating and a heat pump, allowing the house to be used comfortably all year round. On a blustery autumn day, it’s also wonderful to enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub followed by a sauna session – for example, after a walk by the Wadden Sea. The spa and sauna are, of course, located in the bathroom, along with a guest toilet. Both rooms are light and nicely decorated, just like the house’s three good bedrooms and the practical utility room.
Enjoy life outside
The house is situated on a beautifully sunny natural plot, which is equipped with a sandpit and swing for the youngest family members. The paved area allows you to walk dry-footed all the way around the house to the south-facing terrace. This large and sunny terrace is partially covered and screened by a fence, and it is, of course, furnished with garden furniture and a grill, ensuring that holiday life can take place in the best possible way.
Get up close to the local attractions
Lyngvejen is located in the southeast part of Rømø, very close to the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Havneby is also just nearby, so there is easy access to the town’s supermarket and fish shop if you want to cook for yourselves. If you prefer to have food served, there are several dining options to choose from, and the town also offers a golf course and bike rental, giving you plenty of opportunities to stay active. For instance, you can cycle to Sønderstrand or Lakolk Beach, where you can swim in the North Sea, fly kites, and walk on the kilometers of sandy beaches. Another lovely activity is to drive over the dyke to the mainland to visit the Skærbæk Center. Here, you’ll find a bowling alley, art exhibitions, a café, and much more.
