Interior
Extremely cosy reception room with wood burner and heat pump. Here you can lose yourself in a good book, or you can play a game of cards. There is also a double sofa bed. You have a separate kitchen with enough space for everybody to assist preparing a delicious lunch. Nice bathroom with shower and a good bedroom with double bed. The floor-to-ceiling height is a bit low, but everything is extremely cosy and perfect for those, who want to slow down. On the lovely terrace it is perfect to put a couple of steaks on the barbecue, relax and enjoy the fantastic view of the open fields and the rich animal life.
Location / the area
The holiday house is located in a quiet area only 10 min. from a perfect sandy beach. Stenstrup Lyng is a part of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, which is Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find an abundance of exciting sights and fantastic adventure routes. Try f.inst. a walk to Korevlerne or around Højby Lake with horses on your heels. In Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde you can buy fresh fish and other specialities, or you can take the Molslinien ferry to Aarhus. In Nykøbing Sjælland there is really good shopping possibilities with several independent shops with local produce and handicraft. Football golf in Nørre Asmindrup, real golf courses nearby and Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with the workshop GlasSpiren for children or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region are certainly also worth a visit. But it is also a perfect spot for those who love angling or bicycle trips in the unique landscape.
