Description
This charming and original artist’s holiday house from 1934 with a big extension from 1974 is located with direct access to a lovely sandy beach on a huge nature plot at the very tip of OrdrupNæs, with a superb view of the sea towards Nekselø and the foreland. We recommend the house to those who value the completely unique location, nature and beach life but do not have high expectations to comfort.
Interior
The house is divided into two sections built together, the original from 1934 and the newer one from 1974. The original contains a cosy living room with dining corner, from where you have a fantastic sea view; a small kitchen where you can prepare lunch; a room with single beds, an extra toilet and a room with bunk beds for kids, with access from the outside. Furthermore a small conservatory where you can enjoy a glass of wine while watching the stars or the small island Nekselø. In connection with the covered terrace, you find the outdoor kitchen where you can also choose to prepare your meals. The extension contains a big reception room and a bedroom with single beds and a nice bathroom with shower. Take a walk in the house and think of the artist who first came here as a child in times where there were hardly any holiday houses in the area.
Location / the area
The holiday house is located with direct access to one of Denmark’s best sandy beaches. So if you love activities by the sea, the location is perfect. Here you can enjoy a glass of bubbles on the terrace while you listen to the birds singing while you take in the wonderful view towards the sea of the foreland that you can reach via a small path by the beach. Here, in the most fantastic nature where you really feel the DNA of the Geopark Odsherred, and where only very few of us can normally spend our holidays, this is where you find this gem. We recommend a cycling trip or a walking tour in the area, a nice lunch at Dragsholm Castle or just enjoy the silence and the gurgling waves. .
