Have a fantastic vacation in a beautiful holiday house in Klint Hills. The surroundings invite to relaxation, cosy times and an active holiday with the possibility for fossil hunting on the beach, angling, walks and bicycle trips in the scenic nature.
Interior
The house has unique incident light and a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. From the living room you have access to the small loft as well as to the spacious terrace with sea view and the lovely covered terrace facing the garden, where you can enjoy the sun or just sit sheltered and dry, regardless of the weather and time of the day. If you are lucky, you can hear the owl hoot. There is an open kitchen with sea view, offering a dishwasher and a microwave, and here you have enough space to help each other prepare a delicious meal. There is a lovely and spacious bedroom with access to the terrace, another two good bedrooms as well as two great bathrooms – one with a spa bath, sauna and direct access to a closed outdoor shower area. In connection with the hallway you have a washing machine and dryer. On the beautiful terraces you can let yourself be fascinated by the silence or enjoy the sunbeams from morning till evening while reading a good book or playing with the children in the garden.
Location / the area
The holiday house is located in a quiet, light and sunny area. Klint is part of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, the first UNESCO Global Geopark in Denmark. Here you find an abundance of exciting attractions and fantastic event routes in the unique landscape. At the beach in Klint Hills you can build your own stone columns or try out your skills in the former limestone quarry. You can also take a bicycle trip to the passage grave Birkehøj with the longest burial chamber on Zealand. Within walking distance from the house you find several bathing jetties. In Nykøbing Sjælland you have a lovely harbour environment, a theatre and good cafés. The children will love a day in Rørvig, where they have the possibility to fish for crabs on the jetty, while you check out the fishmonger’s big buffet. If you want to catch your own fish, the stony beach at Klintebjerg offers fine inshore fishing.
