This lovely log cabin in a very attractive area close to the beach gives you the opportunity for a genuine summer house holiday with bathing, relaxation and interesting excursions.
Interior
The house contains a great open kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. The living room is cosy, light and spacious and combined with dining room and a wood burning stove for cosy hours. Nice bathroom with shower and a hall with washing machine. Furthermore there are 3 good and well-furnished bedrooms, one with two singlebeds, one with a double bed (180cm wide) and one with an extension bed (140cm wide). From the living room there is access to the large wooden terrace surrounding the entire house, which enables you to enjoy the sun during the day and also in the evening. The plot is natural with beautiful heather and frequently crossing deer.
Location / the area
The holiday house is located in a quiet area only 150m from a nice bathing jetty and 800m from a perfect sandy beach. Rørvig is a part of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred which is Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find numerous fascinating sights and fantastic experience-routes in the unique landscape. Try f. inst. a walk to Skansehage or around the scenic lake Dybesø. At the harbour in Rørvig, the children can fish for crabs while you shop for fresh fish or you can take the cosy ferry to Hundested. There are many really good restaurants in Rørvig, and during summer, the popular flee market is on every Sunday. In Nykøbing Sjælland you find very good shopping with several special shops offering local produce and art. Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with workshop for children or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region is also worth a visit. The children will love the amusement park Sommerland Sjælland that has been elected the best activity for children in Denmark
