Description
This holiday home for 10 persons is located right within the beautiful nature on Funen in the outskirts of the village of Tommerup. The house is 2-storeyed and the ground floor includes a large living room, separate kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a room with another 2 showers. The 1st floor contains another 3 bedrooms and an extra toilet. There are an open and a covered terrace as well as a balcony which can be accessed from one of the bedrooms on the 1st floor. There is a park-like garden with a large lawn. A tennis court is only a few hundred metres away from the house and can be used for free. Please note that the tennis court is also being used by the guests from an apartment for rent nearby.
The area
In the area Denmark´s bird zoo, Frydenlund Fuglepark, is worth a visit. It is a park with many different birds and an exciting exhibition of old Danish farming utensils. Here you can enjoy your home-made food on one of the tables or use the barbecue facilities. In Glamsbjerg which is not far away from the apartment you find Denmark´s Skoda museum. Funen´s "capital" Odense is only 18 kilometres away from the house with lots of attractions. You can visit Denmark´s most beautiful zoo, sail on the river or visit the Hans Christian Andersen´s house where the neighbourhood is an attraction in itself with paved alleys and old houses.
