Welcome to a really lovely and cosy holiday home with many fine details. Here you can take a break from everyday life and enjoy your family and each other.
The house sleeps six person in one bedroom with a double bed, two bedrooms with two single beds and an alcove in the living room.
The house has a large modern kitchen/living room with a dishwasher and everything you need for your stay. Directly connected to the kitchen is a nice dining area with plenty of space for everyone and direct access to a lovely terrace. In the living room, the family can gather in the sofa corner in the living room and enjoy their time in front of the TV, have a family game of table football.
There is 100/100 internet in the house, as well as a TV package with Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian channels. It is also possible to watch your own TV and streaming services via the house's Chromecast and your own mobile phone/tablet.
The house has 2 beautiful bathrooms, both with toilet and shower. The master bathroom also has a lovely spa bath that you can enjoy during your stay.
At the entrance to the holiday home, there is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, so you can wash your beach towels after a long day at the beach.
Outdoor
The holiday home is located on a scenic block in a quiet holiday home area just 400 metres from Rude sandy beach.
The holiday home has both open and covered terraces, which means that outdoor life can be enjoyed for most of the year regardless of the weather. There are several nice garden furniture and lounge furniture, where you can relax, read a good book or play on the large green lawn. And if you feel tempted, you can make twisted bread on a stick over the fire pit at the shelter.
In the garden, there is a swing set and sandpit for the little ones.
On the terrace there is a practical kitchen table and you might be tempted to cook the day's meal on the house's charcoal grill and enjoy it on one of the terraces.
There are 2 bikes at the house which can be used at your own risk in the condition they are found.
Location
The holiday home is located close to Rude Strand, which has a very fine sandy beach. The beach is very child-friendly. From the coast there is a view of Tunø and Samsø - two islands that are worth a visit on a day trip.
Close by is Saksild Strand where you will find Restaurant Bondehuset, Vaffelhuset, Trekanten (pizza) and Strandshoppen with various groceries and a new mini golf course from 2021.
In Saksild you will also find Denmark's oldest mini golf course, where you can challenge each other and eat large, tasty ice creams.
Both mini golf courses are definitely worth a visit, and both places offer a light lunch or dinner.
It is not far to the small, cosy harbour town of Norsminde, where you can enjoy an ice cream or dine at the renowned Norsminde Kro.
The bus runs from Kystvejen to Aarhus and Odder - or hire bikes at Saksild Strand Camping and enjoy the landscape and nature by bike. Suggestions for the trip could be a trip to Fru Møller's farm shop and restaurant.
Most of East Jutland's attractions are only an hour's drive from Rude - visit Djurs Sommerland, LEGOLAND, Moesgaard Museum or ARoS.
