Interior
It is a pleasure to welcome you to this comfortable holiday house in Saksild.
The house has 3 bedrooms, nice alcove, kitchen/family room, big living room and bathroom. The house is very suitable for both family and friends, when you are going on a holiday or just wants a break from your everyday life, where you can relax and be together in a scenic area very close to Saksild Beach.
The sleeping places is divided into one bedroom with a double bed, one room with two single beds and an alcove with two sleeping places by the kitchen.
The kitchen has a nice dining area with room for everyone and open access to the living room. In the living room you will certainly gather around in the sofa group for board games, fun and quality time with each other. There are good resting/seating places for all of you and of cause TV and a wood stove, which can be lit up on the cold days.
The bathroom includes a toilet, shower and washing machine.
There is not any TV Channels in the house, but there is an opportunity to see your own TV- and streaming services with the house´s Chromecast and your own phone/tablet.
Outdoor
The holiday house is located on a scenic ground only 120 m. from the beach. We are sure that you will enjoy standing with your bare feet in the sand only a few minutes walk from the house. On the beach you will easily be able to spend many hours swimming, building sandcastles and long walks all year.
In the garden there is a good opportunity for playing on the lawn. There are two football goals, various garden games and a hammock which can be relaxed in, after a nice game with the children.
The opportunities to staying outside during your stay is great. All the way around the house, there is a wooden terrace with many fine garden furniture, sun loungers and a grill.
There are a couple of bicycles by the house, which you are very welcome to use during your stay. The bicycles are used in the condition they are in and at your own risk.
Location
The holiday house is located only 120 m. from East Jutland´s very best beaches. The sandy beach is low tide and very child-friendly and has “Blue flag”.
Within walking distance lies Restaurant Bondehuset, Vaffelhuset, Trekanten (pizza) and Strandshoppen with various groceries. Only 100 m. from the holiday house you will find Denmark’s eldest minigolf Lane, where you can challenge each other and eat tasty big ice cream.
It is not far to the small cozy harbor town Norsminde. Here you can enjoy an ice cream or eat at the reputable Norsminde Kro.
If you like an active holiday, it can e.g. unfold by the water, on a bicycle or by hiking in the beautiful nature of the area. From Hou there is a daily ferry crossing to the islands Tunø and Samsø.
There are only 8 km. to Odder, which offers the cozy pedestrian street with good shopping opportunities, a large selection of stores for groceries and nice attractions. The bowling center “Kuglen og Keglen” in Odder also has many outdoor activities for the whole family.
Half an hour drive by car and you are in Aarhus, Denmark´s second largest city, enjoyed and experienced. Here you will find e.g. Den Gamle By, art museum Aros, shopping center Bruuns Galleri and Tivoli Friheden.
