Description
Interior
An older holiday home with personal and cozy interior. The kitchen contains all one needs during the stay, such as a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and more. The bathroom is bright and has a shower, toilet, a washer and a dryer. In the living room there is room for the whole family; to gather around the dining table and afterwards relax at the wood stove or TV.
The house has three bedrooms. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and one bedroom with a bunk bed.
Outdoor
There is plenty of space in the partially enclosed garden to explore the outdoor life. For the children there is a sandbox, swing and plenty of room for play. For the adults, the good life can be enjoyed on the terrace with a nice dinner - perhaps prepared on the grill - or just relax in a sun lounger with a good book in a summer day. From the exit of the living room there is a covered terrace. There it is possible to enjoy the beautiful view of nature and fields all day long.
Location
Ideally located at a fantastic child-friendly sandy beach. Saksild Strand is one of East Jutland's absolute best beaches and has previously been voted one of Denmark's best beaches. During the summer season, the lifeguard tower is staffed by lifeguards. Saksild Beach is 10 minutes from Odder, which is a nice trading town. Only 20 minutes drive away is Aarhus: Denmark's second largest city, with a large range of attractions. Nearby, just south of Aarhus, you find the new Moesgaard Museum and in Aarhus Den Gamle By, Aros and Tivoli. A little further away you can choose between Djurs Sommerland, Aqua in Silkeborg, Kattegatcentret, Givskud Zoo, Fængslet in Horsens and not to mention Legoland. All the attractions are at a distance of about an hour or less.
