The lively market and shopping town Nykøbing Sj. has a cosy pe­de­stri­an street and is located within a short bicycle trip from the holiday house. The area offers an abundance of acti­vi­ties and events all year round, plus a very unique landscape.

What the holiday house might lack in size, you are rewarded with in charm. For here you are close to each other in the sofa in the cosy living room by the wood burner. When you have taken a walk along the beach, there is nothing better than to gather here for a board game and maybe a freshly baked bun and a cup of warm cocoa with whipped cream on top.

Enjoy life outside
The holiday house is located pea­ce­ful­ly on an open plot with big trees and is sur­ro­un­ded by the fresh sea air. On the plot there is an old wooden boat that creates a maritime at­mosp­he­re to the en­viron­ment around the house. You only need to go a few hundred metres, until you can throw yourself into the fresh and clean blue waves of Kattegat. Here the coastline stretches from Sjællands Odde to Rørvig and offers some of the best sandy beaches. Outside the high season, a brisk walk along the beach and behind the dunes will give you and the family nice red cheeks.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions
The holiday house is a nice base for visiting the at­tra­ctions in all of Odsherred. Towards west the fishing village Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde is worth a visit with acti­vi­ties and events for adults as well as children, and with a good fis­h­mon­ger open all year round. Towards east Rørvig is a lively and charming village with the ferry to Hundested and a series of good re­stau­rants with tapas, fish menus and much more. For families with children a visit to the amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland is ine­vi­tab­le – from the children’s point of view. Other than a beautiful and versatile park, you find here an abundance of acti­vi­ties for all ages as well as an enormous Aqua Land.
