A cozy summer house located in the first row to the fjord

This house is situated in peaceful and scenic sur­ro­un­dings with direct access to Isefjord, in the sout­hea­stern corner of Odsherred. The house offers the most beautiful views over the fjord. This part of Odsherred offers plenty of op­portu­ni­ties for both walking and cycling. If you like angling, there are great fishing spots right on your doorstep. It is also the perfect location for kayaking.

Welcome inside
The lovely sofa group is perfect for cozying up together, whether to relax or to enjoy a game of Yatzy or a board game. The bright, open-plan kitchen is centrally located in the house, letting you join in the con­ver­sa­tion around the dining table, while you are preparing a fresh salad or baking a cake.

Enjoy life outside
On the deck, you can enjoy your meals while taking in the view of the fjord. You will truly feel the proximity to the fjord, and a very short stroll will take you to the salt marshes and the bathing jetty. There are excellent paths in the area; you can cross the Sidinge Dam and take a trip to "Næbbet," the sout­hea­stern corner ofthe beautiful Kongsøre Forest, which sits directly on Isefjord. Not far from the cottage area, you will find the "Ple­jerup­dys­se," one of the country's most beau­ti­ful­ly situated long barrows. From this 35-meter-long borrow, there is a mag­ni­fi­cent view over the Lam­mefjord and the Isefjord towards Tuse Næs. Nearby, you will also find the in­tri­gu­ing Grevinge Forest, featuring cycling and hiking trails as well as ancient monuments from the Stone Age.

Get close to local ex­pe­ri­en­ces
If you are in­te­r­e­sted in art, Odsherred is the place to be. Numerous artists have settled here over the years due to the bright light, which is also cha­ra­cte­ri­stic of Skagen (Northern tip of Denmark). The area remains home to many artists and artisans, museums, galleries, and exhi­bi­tions. At Fe­ri­e­part­ner Odsherred, we recommend a visit to the artists Sigurd & Agnete Swane’s former home "Malergården" in Plejerup, located very close to the summer house. At Malergården, you step into a genuine time capsule—the well-preserved artist home of the Swane family.

Finally, remember to visit one of the many farm shops in the area to taste some of the fantastic local produce that the region is so famous for.
