Cosy family holiday house in peaceful sur­ro­un­dings close to the Isefjord

The holiday house is located in peaceful and scenic sur­ro­un­dings close to the Isefjord, in the south-eastern corner of Odsherred. The holiday house area is located on an east-facing slope towards the Lam­mefjord, and many houses have a complete or partial view of the fjord. This part of Odsherred offers many po­s­si­bi­li­ties for walks and bicycle rides and has child-friendly bathing water. There are good fishing po­s­si­bi­li­ties by the Lam­mefjord for the anglers, and the fjord is well suited for kayaking and other forms of water sports.

Welcome inside

The big corner sofa is perfect for cosy times and to­get­her­ness, and here in the corner facing the terrace you may spend many hours playing games of Yatzy and feeling the good vibes. The open light kitchen is centrally located in the house, so from here you may also take part in the con­ver­sa­tion by the table or in the sofa while preparing a healthy salad or baking a cake. If you want to get warm all the way through, you find the sauna in one end of the house and the bathroom in the other.

Enjoy life outside
On the terrace you may enjoy the daily meals in the shade from the Japanese cherry tree and with a view to the green lawn. You can feel the proximity of the Lam­mefjord, and it takes only a short walk, until you reach the tidal meadows and the boat/bathing jetty. The area offers nice paths, and you can also pass the Sidinge dam and take a tour on Næbbet, the most south-eastern part of the beautiful Kongsøre forest, stret­ching directly to the Isefjord. Not far from the holiday house area you find Ple­jerup­dys­sen, one of the finest located long barrows in Denmark. From the 35m long barrow you have a bre­ath­taking view of the Lam­mefjord and the Isefjord towards Tuse Næs. There is a parking lot on the road Hum­le­ha­ven between Plejerup and Atterup. In the vicinity you also find the in­te­r­e­sting forest Grevinge Skov with cycling and foot paths that are loaded with relics of antiquity from the Stone Age.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions
If you are in­te­r­e­sted in art, Odsherred is the perfect place, for hundreds of artists have settled down here through the ages, due to the clear light that also cha­ra­cte­rizes Skagen. You still find many artists here as well as artisans, museums, galleries and exhi­bi­tion sites.
