Description
The holiday house area at Nykøbing Nordstrand is popular and attractive, because it is located between the town and the beach in peaceful surroundings. Neither restaurants, supermarkets nor shopping are far away. The holiday house is also located close to attractions such as Hov Vig bird sanctuary and the forest Rørvig Sandflugtsplantage. And the beach is right down by the end of the road in the holiday house area.
Welcome inside
The holiday house is a great base for a vacation for a family of five. Here you have a big, roomy living room and a spacious open kitchen in the centre of the house. There is plenty of room by the long kitchen desk to bake buns or make pizza, cut salad and all in all just be together with the cooking. You may gather around the big dining table for cosy times and good company and play games after the meal, but you can also split up between the sofa setting and the dining table. Even more attractive is the big conservatory with an inviting sofa setting and the table football tempting to a match. When the night is falling and you go to bed, you can open the door directly to the garden from each of the bedrooms after a good night’s rest.
Enjoy life outside
The house offers two spacious terraces with tables and chairs behind a windbreak, and after a meal the children will no doubt go for a good time in the big garden trampoline or a round in the swing, hanging from the pine tree. You can also play a game of garden football before walking to the beach just a few hundred metres down the road, for here you have Kattegat with a lovely sandy beach and great bathing water.
Get close to the local attractions
At Feriepartner Odsherred we recommend the entire family to go for a walk at Højsandet in Rørvig. The tour on Højsandet itself is a beautiful and versatile walk of just 1,3 km, but you may extend it with the tour around Dybesø Lake, also 1,3 km or onwards along Flyndersøvej and Flyndersø Lake to the nature areas Korshage and Skansehage, up to 10,8 km.
Højsandet is an inland dune, created by people who were laying out rice fences that through times the sand drift from Kattegat has covered and raised, so that today Højsandet reaches a height of 8 metres between Rørvig and Dybesø Lake. This lake is actually not deep, only up to 2,3 metres, and Flyndersø Lake east of Dybesø is even shallower. Both lakes are former hollows in Kattegat.
