Indoors

The house contains 3 good bedrooms with ample cupboard space and double beds of 140cm, 140cm and 180 cm re­specti­ve­ly. There are 2 living rooms, one with a wood-burning stove and te­le­vi­sion and a couch and the other with seating for 8. The very spacious kitchen and a regular dining room are combined. There is a dis­hwas­her, microwave, 1 regular fridge and 1 American fridge and large freezer. In the bright, stately dining room, there is room for 6 people around the table and access to the terrace. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and in con­nection with the master bedroom and the other with a shower and bathtub. The beautiful and cozy terrace in con­nection with the lovely courtyard has boats, a barbecue and garden furniture. Here you can laze com­ple­te­ly un­dis­tur­bed in the deck­chairs with a good book. All in all, a lovely house with plenty of room to spread out in different rooms. The grounds are large with lots of nooks and crannies where children can play without su­per­vi­sion, as the garden is fenced. There is a wealth of wildlife on the grounds and it is not uncommon to see deer and hares right outside the windows.

Area
The house is located in the middle of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, with plenty of op­portu­ni­ties for walks and bike rides in scenic areas. There is almost direct access to the Is­tids­ru­ten and Isefjord­s­ru­ten from the house. The Egebjerg peninsula with its mythical creatures and the Ul­kerup­sko­ven with the Ulkerupsjælene are an absolute must. At the Hempel Glass Museum, children can make their own glasses in the Glas­Spi­ren and you can have lunch at Re­stau­rant Anneberg with a fantastic view of the Isefjord. Od­s­her­reds Museum with a copy of the Solvognen, Som­mer­land Sjælland and Sand­skre­det with the beautiful forest and campfire site are also recom­men­ded. In Nykøbing Sjælland there are good shopping op­portu­ni­ties with in­te­r­e­sting specialty shops and many really good re­stau­rants, including Café Nokken at the cozy marina. If you are into art, there are many art workshops throug­hout the area that invite you to visit and perhaps a nice work of art for your col­lection. At the harbor in Rørvig, you can buy fresh fish, have a cup of coffee, eat at the good fish re­stau­rant, or you can take the cozy ferry to Hundested and see the sand figures. It is only ½ hour drive to Holbæk and 1 hour drive to Co­pen­ha­gen.
