You have to walk though one bedroom to enter the last room. In addition there is a large combined living- and dining room with wood burning stove, energy efficient heat pump, access to the garden and in open connection with the well-equipped kitchen. The house is situated idyllically in the landscape of Funen. Not far from the house you will find Wedellsborg Castle, which through the centuries has been the largest and one of the most beautiful castles on Funen.
The area
The beautiful area, which surrounds Wedellsborg Castle, is certainly worth a visit. Here are good bathing possibilities by the 2 lovely beaches Husby Strand and Sdr. Aaby Strand. Both places have a fine and sandy beach, flushing toilets and parking facilities. Along the coast there are also good opportunities for anglers. There are only about 14 km to the cozy town Assens, where there are shopping, charming narrow streets, restaurants and the large and popular marina. There is also the chance to visit the small island Bågø with the little ferry near Sdr. Aaby Strand.
