You can also walk ap­proxi­ma­te­ly one kilometre to a large campsite with a small shop, making it easy to pick up ice cream, fresh bread or other holiday es­sen­ti­als. If you would like to ex­pe­ri­en­ce authentic Danish summer at­mosp­he­re, Lundeborg is an obvious desti­na­tion. The charming harbour is around 10 ki­lo­metres away and offers re­stau­rants, cafés and live music throug­hout the summer. And if you fancy a little more town life and even more ex­pe­ri­en­ces, both Nyborg and Svendborg are within easy driving distance. From here, you can explore even more of beautiful Funen before returning to your own little gem at Klintholm Strand.
