At the same time, the farmhouse charm has been upgraded, as the house was renovated in 2022, which is evident in the beautiful kitchen, modern interior, and light color tones. A cozy wood-burning stove is placed in the well-appointed living room, and from here, a steep staircase leads up to the ta­ste­ful­ly furnished first floor, which includes a bedroom and an ad­di­tio­nal cozy nook with a sofa and flat-screen TV. On the ground floor, you'll find two more bedrooms, allowing the house to ac­com­moda­te up to six people.

The house’s con­ser­va­tory is a lovely spot to enjoy the view of the green garden – but when the weather is warm and summery, you might prefer to sit outdoors. Here, you can listen to the birdsong and the sound of the wind rustling through the fir trees, while you com­ple­te­ly relax in the sun on the terrace. The lawn offers plenty of space for play and ball games, and with the bonfire pit and tram­po­li­ne, there are several fun acti­vi­ties to enjoy in the green sur­ro­un­dings. Thanks to the hot tub, you can also fill your afternoon or evening with warm baths and total re­laxa­tion once your day’s outings are over.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
From Vesterkærvej, it’s easy to head out into the scenic area, whether you set off by bike or car. You can also lace up your hiking boots and head out on foot, for example, toward the fantastic hilly coastline at Toftum Bjerge, which is only a couple of ki­lo­me­ters away. If you’ve packed your golf clubs, it takes just five minutes to drive to Struer Golf Club, and the local su­per­mar­ket in Humlum is even closer. If you want to head into Struer to visit the spa, explore the cultural history museum, or dine at a re­stau­rant, you’ll get there quickly as well.
