Lovely holiday home in Toftum Bjerge with a view of the Limfjord
House-ID: LF11107Welcome to *Hyggebo* – an atmospheric and well-appointed holiday home located on a quiet road in the scenic area of Toftum Bjerge. The road slopes down towards the steep cliffs that mark the transition to the area’s lovely beach, and when you’re not spending time by the water, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Limfjord from the living room.
Welcome inside
The view of the blue fjord water is a gentle reminder that you’re far away from everyday routines. And chances are you’ll be in full holiday mode the moment you wake up in one of the two bedrooms and head to the kitchen to brew some coffee and prepare breakfast. If it’s chilly outside, you can fire up the wood-burning stove, and thanks to the flat-screen TV, you and your loved ones can enjoy films or binge-watch your favourite series—unless board games, books, or other forms of analog entertainment are on the agenda. If you need more sleeping space than the four beds in the bedrooms, there’s a loft where you can stay overnight, and the cosy alcove in the living room is also a great place to lounge.
Enjoy life outside
The house features a lovely southeast-facing terrace—perfect for starting the day when the summer sun shines over Toftum Bjerge. If you want to enjoy the fjord view, opt for the southwest-facing terrace instead—and from here, the kids can take the slide down to the lawn on the sloped plot, giving them something fun to do while the adults relax in the garden chairs. Together, you can play lawn games or simply unwind in the garden’s private and peaceful surroundings, and when it’s time for dinner, you can fire up the barbecue and let the scent of charcoal fill the air.
Get up close to the local attractions
The small Skovvej ends in a cul-de-sac just a short walk from the house, and a well-maintained network of trails makes it easy to get around on foot. For example, you can take the staircase down the steep cliff to Toftum Bjerge’s beautiful beach when you want to take a dip in the Limfjord or go for a stroll along the shoreline. Not only hiking, but also angling, cycling, and paragliding are popular outdoor activities in the area—and if you love golf, you’ll be pleased to know that Struer Golf Club is close by. Klosterheden is a wonderful plantation to explore, where you might be lucky enough to spot both beavers and red deer. And if a day of city life with spa visits and dining out appeals to you, you can reach the market town of Struer in about ten minutes by car.
