Description
This beautiful holiday home in elegant style, with room for 12 persons, is situated on the northern Mors with views to the Limfjord and the surrounding fields. The house contains in the ground floor a guest toilet in connection with the entrance hall and a well equipped kitchen with American fridge, dishwasher and dining area. In addition, there is a living room with foosball table, a TV-room with access to a small covered terrace, a large dining room and a hall with stairs to the first floor. On the 1st floor there is a landing, 4 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and bath tub. Furthermore there is a boiler room with a separate entrance and an indoor fish cleaning table. Just across the road is the Molermuseum located. Here is a fantastic collection of fossils. Also the Skarregaard museum is nearby the house. The history of the Skarregaard dates back to the Middle Ages.
The area
There are a lot of things to see and do when staying on Mors. The fun park Jesperhus Feriepark is not far away from the area. The small town Nykøbing is Mors´”capital”. Experience the small, idyllic streets by the harbor. The harbor is located right behind the nice walking street. The harbor offers a nice harbor atmosphere and several nice places to dine out. The monastery Dueholm is the eldest building in town and was built by the Order of St. John in 1371. Today you can visit an exhibition in the five historical buildings. The island offers a beautiful and unique nature, and the nature reserve Agerø is a paradise for those who love birdwatching. Also the fairytale castle Højris is open for visitors and definitely worth a visit. Mors is the perfect area for an active holiday. Here you can go fishing, sailing or play tennis and golf. There are golf courses in Nykøbing and Harre Vig, among others.
