Lovely thatched farmhouse, pea­ce­ful­ly situated, near the village of Udby, just outside Stege on Møn.

Here you will live in an idyllic house from 1817, pea­ce­ful­ly situated, at the end of a long field road. The at­mosp­he­re is calm and authentic – a place where time almost stands still, and where you im­me­di­a­te­ly feel at home.

Welcome inside

You enter directly into the cozy kitchen, which is equipped with a stove with four hotplates and oven, extractor hood, built-in re­fri­ge­ra­tor with freezer, electric kettle and coffee maker. From the kitchen there is access to the house's bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. From the kitchen a hallway leads further into the house. Here you will first find a cozy bedroom with a double bed, chest of drawers and a bench. Further on, the house opens up into a lovely living room with TV and WIFI. Here you can relax on the sofa, light up the small wood-burning stove or use the heat pump, depending on the season. At one end of the living room there is a cozy dining area. From the living room, a narrow staircase leads up to the first floor, where there are two good bedrooms. One room has a bed in an alcove (130 x 190 cm), a desk and a sofa, as well as a nice view of the fields. The other room is furnished with a double bed and book­s­hel­ves.

Enjoy life outside

From the hallway, you can open the beautiful old double doors and step directly into the garden - a lovely place to enjoy the peace and nature around you. On the other side of the house, you will find a terrace with garden furniture, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or gather for a meal in the open air. By the terrace is a small extension with an extra re­fri­ge­ra­tor with freezer com­part­ment - practical on hot summer days.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

This area on Møn has the perfect setting for a suc­ces­sful holiday. From here, it is a short trip to several of Møn's ex­pe­ri­en­ces. Nearby, you can also visit Møn Is, where delicious ice cream made with milk from the farm's own cows is served in season. Visit Klintholm harbor which has a fantastic en­viron­ment and at­mosp­he­re and is an active yachting and fishing harbor and here you can buy fresh fish or catch it yourself. Here you will also find cozy summer re­stau­rants, a gallery and a grocery store in the maritime en­viron­ment of the harbor. The nearest shopping option is the cozy market town of Stege, where there are several specialty stores with a large selection of local goods. Here you will also find good re­stau­rants, as well as grocery stores and the famous Tuesday markets in the summer season. In 2017, Møn was added to UNESCO's list of Biosphere areas.
