Welcome inside

Here you literally live on the beach with the water as your closest neighbour. From the cosy living room you can enjoy the wonderful view of the sea, while the daylight slowly moves over the water. There is a dining area and direct access to the terrace, where you can start the day with a cup of coffee and the sound of the waves as ba­ck­gro­und music. The small kit­che­net­te is simply and cosily furnished with two electric hobs, a fridge and oven and a dis­hwas­her – just what you need for a relaxing holiday. Under the house’s charming thatched roof you will find a cosy loft with two sleeping places, which is accessed via a ladder/stairs. The bathroom is simple and fun­ctio­nal with a toilet, sink and shower. Here, a holiday is not about having the most possible – but about having the right things.

Enjoy life outside

Step out the door and im­me­di­a­te­ly feel what a pri­vil­e­ged location you have found. The cottage is located directly on Rytsebæk Beach, and the beach becomes almost an extension of your own garden. Start the day with a re­fres­hing dip, walk barefoot along the water's edge or find a good spot on the terrace with a cup of coffee while enjoying the view of the sea. Later, you can pack a basket and take a long walk along the beach, while the wind and fresh sea air make it easy to forget about everyday life. The natural plot of approx. 695 m² gives you plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. Here you can settle down in the garden furniture, read a book, have lunch in the sun or simply let your gaze rest on the sea. When evening falls and the sky changes color over the water, it is difficult not to lower your shoulders com­ple­te­ly. Here there is room to be together - and to just be.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Although Strand­hu­set feels like your own little world by the sea, you are also close to some of Møn's cozy holiday ex­pe­ri­en­ces. This area on Møn invites you to long walks and wonderful ex­pe­ri­en­ces. You will live in the middle of Danish nature - close to the forest and beach. The local area offers outdoor acti­vi­ties such as swimming, fishing and hiking and cycling. You can visit Møns Klint and the Geocenter, where there are plenty of ex­pe­ri­en­ces for all ages. Visit the farm where they make Møn ice cream and pet the cows from which the milk comes. The small village of Fanefjord is located approx. 7 km from the house, and here you will find, among other things, Dag­li'­Brugs­en, which is open every day of the week. Otherwise, the nearest shopping option is the cozy market town of Stege, where there are several specialty stores with a large selection of local pro­du­cer­s' goods. Here you will also find good re­stau­rants, as well as grocery stores and the famous Tuesday markets in the summer season.

But perhaps that's what makes Strand­hu­set so special: You don't have to plan every single day. Some days the greatest ex­pe­ri­en­ce is simply opening the door, feeling the sea air and letting the day begin right where the beach meets the sea.
