Welcome inside
Inside the holiday home, the at­mosp­he­re is bright and welcoming, and if you’re on holiday to relax with thick books, delicious meals and cosy con­ver­sa­tions, you’ve chosen just right. During the day, sunlight streams in through the large living room windows, and when darkness falls and the weather calls for it, it’s wonderful to light the wood-burning stove and let the warmth spread. A well-equipped kitchen is openly connected to the living room, and the layout also includes a shower bathroom and three good bedrooms with a total of five sleeping places.

As something new, the holiday home also features a study, giving you the op­portu­ni­ty to combine holiday time with focused work in peaceful sur­ro­un­dings. Perhaps you need to check a few emails, attend an online meeting, or simply retreat with your laptop and a cup of coffee? The study creates a flexible setting for your stay and makes the house ideal if you wish to work a little during your holiday – without com­pro­mi­sing the relaxed at­mosp­he­re. The largest bedroom also has direct access to the south-west facing terrace, and by the terrace to the east you’ll find an extra toilet with a washing machine and tumble dryer, making it easy to freshen up your holiday wardrobe if the children get ice cream stains on their clothes.

Enjoy life outside
If you’re here with family or friends who love garden games and outdoor acti­vi­ties, you can look forward to a large, level lawn at the holiday home. Here, you can let loose freely – and if you need even more space, there’s a green communal area with football goals close to the house. Children’s laughter and the sound of a ball hitting the back of the net can quickly become part of the cosy so­und­tra­ck of your holiday.

If you’re more in the mood to sit quietly with your morning coffee or enjoy a nice lunch in the sun, you can settle down on one of the lovely terraces sur­ro­un­ding the house. On the otherwise open east-facing terrace, there is a small covered area extending from the kitchen, while the south-west facing terrace is partially screened, giving you a good chance of finding shelter. Here, you can let your thoughts wander as the sun warms you, perhaps planning the next day’s excursion in North Jutland.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Skar­n­ty­de­vej is a quiet, closed gravel road, and via paths and small roads it’s easy to reach the charming holiday home area – for example, if you want to head towards Ha­re­ren­den or up to Lønstrup Klint to admire the view over the North Sea. You can also stroll into the centre of Lønstrup to browse shops selling arts and crafts or visit some of the town’s many galleries and working artists’ studios.

You’ll also find plenty of good places to eat, as Lønstrup offers eve­ryt­hing from ice cream parlours and cafés to the Michelin-starred Re­stau­rant Villa Vest. Skallerup Seaside Resort is the perfect place to take the children to the water park or go bowling, and for all nature lovers, a visit to Rubjerg Knude is a must to ex­pe­ri­en­ce the im­pres­si­ve landscape of shifting sands and wide-ranging views.

Remember that you can always borrow pull carts, high chairs and cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Lønstrup. You can collect them directly from our office and return them to us once your holiday is over.
