Charming holiday home with a fantastic sea view
House-ID: LN1500Cozy holiday home with a fantastic location just a stone’s throw from the North Sea
If you prioritise fresh air, short distances to the beach, cosy surroundings, and peace and quiet during your holiday, then this charming and well-located house in Tornby is the perfect choice.
Welcome inside
With its 66 m², the holiday home is ideal for a couple’s getaway or a family with a couple of children. With three bedrooms, it can accommodate up to five people, who will quickly feel at home in the inviting surroundings. The house is built in wood and exudes the perfect holiday atmosphere with wicker and wooden furniture, pastel-coloured textiles, fabric curtains, and carefully selected decorative items. From the living room, there is a fantastic view of the North Sea, only a hundred metres from the house, and with the large binoculars, you can watch the birds and the big ships sailing across the water. The house was built in 1971 and has been renovated over the years, so it meets all the modern requirements for a holiday home: wireless internet, cable TV with Danish, Scandinavian, German, and English channels, a well-equipped kitchen, and a modern wood-burning stove that provides warmth and cosy comfort on a grey day. A charming and atmospheric holiday home with everything you need for any type of holiday.
Enjoy life outside
It will be hard to find more beautiful and idyllic outdoor spaces than those around this house. Situated only 100 metres from the North Sea, you have a completely unspoiled view of the beach and water. Around the house, there are several lovely cosy corners, and the terrace, accessible from the living room, is covered, allowing you to sit and enjoy the sunset from the best spot. After a swim, you can rinse off sand and salt under the outdoor shower, which is also perfect for cooling the children on a warm summer day.
Get up close to the local attractions
The unique location so close to the North Sea is an attraction in itself, and with a path to the water right next to the house, morning and evening dips are easy to enjoy. Hirtshals is only a few kilometres away; here you can see the large Norwegian ferries, explore the bunker complex, climb to the top of the tall lighthouse, visit the exciting Oceanarium, shop in the pedestrian street, and enjoy a good lunch with a view of the water at one of the town’s cafés. Being so far north in Denmark, we also recommend a trip to Skagen to experience some of the town’s many attractions, such as the Sand-Covered Church, Skagen Museum, Skagen Lighthouse, and of course Grenen, where you can stand with one foot in the Kattegat and the other in the Skagerrak – a story to tell long after the holiday ends.
Remember that you can always borrow pull carts, high chairs, and cots from us at Feriepartner Lønstrup. You can pick them up directly at the agency and return them once your holiday has come to an end.
