Welcome inside
When you step into the ‘Snail House’, it feels like stepping into a time capsule, and the house has indeed been owned by the same family since 1928. Over the years, it has been carefully renovated, pre­ser­ving the original character with wall panels, original wooden benches, ceiling beams, and many well-preserved pieces of furniture – a rare place full of soul and history. The entrance is by the kitchen, providing access to the bathroom, the first floor, and the beautiful living room. The first floor has two bedrooms with a double bed and two single beds; both bedrooms offer full enjoyment of the fantastic sea view. Adjacent to the kitchen is the charming living room with a sofa area and dining nook, which leads to the third bedroom with a double bed. Con­si­de­ring the age of the house, it is well-equipped with modern amenities: there is a dis­hwas­her, air-con­di­tio­ning heat pump, cable TV, and internet so you can stay updated on the news, but we recommend spending most of your holiday enjoying the bre­ath­taking panoramic view of the sea with Hirtshals Ligh­t­hou­se to the north.

Enjoy life outside
The summer villa is situated high on a beautiful large natural plot. There is an east-facing terrace right outside the kitchen door, perfect for morning coffee, and at the end of the house is a large covered terrace with a sandbox for children. The lawn is ideal for sun­bat­hing, play, and re­laxa­tion on long, bright summer evenings, and from eve­rywhe­re on the property and house, you can enjoy the beautiful views and the North Sea. There is also a small extra toilet ac­ces­sib­le from outside.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The villa’s elevated position is truly unique, offering beautiful views while still being close to Lønstrup. A brisk walk takes you to the heart of Lønstrup, where you’ll find a wealth of working workshops, from jewellery and galleries to ceramics and glass art. Charming cafés and excellent re­stau­rants line the town, promising de­light­ful culinary ex­pe­ri­en­ces. Just south of the town is the large, migrating sand dune Rubjerg Knude, where you can feel the power of nature with the west wind and enjoy an im­pres­si­ve view of the North Sea and sur­ro­un­ding landscape.

Remember that you can always borrow pull carts, high chairs, and cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Lønstrup. You can pick them up directly at the agency and return them once your holiday has ended.
