House-ID: LF558Cozy holiday home with a lovely location and views over the fjord
Are you in need of a holiday filled with relaxation, coziness, and quality time with your family? Then this older but well-maintained holiday home offers the perfect setting for just that.
Welcome inside
This holiday home exudes charm and coziness. The wooden walls, large windows, and comfortable furnishings invite many hours of relaxation with your loved ones; here you can escape the stress of everyday life and recharge your energy. Originally built in the late 1970s, the house has been beautifully renovated over the years and still provides a well-functioning framework for any type of holiday. With three bedrooms and one bathroom, the house accommodates up to six people. The rest of the space is devoted to a large, open living area with kitchen, lounge, and dining space. From here, you have a unique view of the fjord. On chilly mornings, lighting the wood stove adds extra holiday atmosphere, and you might even take the time to read a chapter or two of a good book before the day really begins. The holiday home is simply and minimally furnished but also well-equipped with appliances, TV, satellite, and wireless internet—just remember to bring your laptop or tablet.
Enjoy life outside
The holiday home is set in beautiful natural surroundings on a lovely garden plot with large bushes and plenty of space for playing and running around on the grass. There is a terrace surrounding much of the house, allowing you to follow the sun all day long. By the entrance, there is a charming corner with a café set, and from the living area, you can step out onto a large covered section of the terrace.
Get up close to the local attractions
This holiday home enjoys one of Kjærgaarden’s best locations, just 200 meters from the fjord and the beach. The coast at Krik Vig offers child-friendly beaches with calm waters and the opportunity to enter the water from a small bathing jetty. If you want to experience the great North Sea, we recommend visiting Agger, where the beach has a Blue Flag and you can even drive out to Agger Tange to watch birdlife and maybe spot a seal colony. Further north, you can fish at Flade Sø or visit the popular Lodbjerg Lighthouse with its fantastic views over both the sea and the rugged landscape. Thy’s main attraction is Nationalpark Thy with its untouched nature and exciting wildlife. You can hike and cycle on the various trails or even book a nature guide for an exciting tour; see more at www.nationalparkthy.dk.
