The layout is well thought out, with three bedrooms and a bathroom grouped at one end of the house, while the kitchen and living room are openly connected – allowing both daylight and cosy chatter to flow freely. A con­ser­va­tory connects the sleeping quarters and the living area, making it easy to use if you want to sit close to the garden – and from the kitchen, a staircase leads to the loft, which, with mattres­ses, toys and a game console, will quickly become the children’s favourite indoor spot. You can enjoy the fjord view from several rooms, but it’s most bre­ath­taking from the kitchen thanks to the large gable windows. Just imagine how lovely it will be to sit here with your morning coffee while the sun glimmers on the calm water!

Enjoy life outside
The 5,968 m² natural plot is im­pres­si­ve­ly large and leads directly to the water, so you’ll be va­ca­tio­ning in the most beautiful landscape, watching how the fjord changes depending on the weather and time of day. Start the day with a dip – and if you don’t want to dry off on the beach, you can be back at the house before your coffee is even ready. From the bedrooms, the con­ser­va­tory, and the kitchen, there is direct access to the lovely terrace area that wraps around the house. In other words, you can step outside as soon as the weather allows, and there are several wonderful spots to choose from if you want to sit with the paper or enjoy lunch with your loved ones. In the evening, there’s the option to barbecue, and if you want to end the day in the most relaxing way, you can soak in the wil­der­ness bath while the stars begin to appear in the sky.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Lundø is a wonderful place to unwind and slow down – espe­ci­al­ly when you’re staying with an unob­structed view of the Limfjord. You’ll be close to the northern tip of the peninsula and the spit, where you may be lucky enough to spot seals enjoying the peace and quiet. Whether you want to swim, fish, or kayak, the water is always nearby, and it’s easy to reach the local campsite if you fancy an ice cream with the kids or a meal out with the whole family. For an exciting day trip, head to the Mønsted Limestone Mines to explore the kilometre-long tunnels. Skive is a charming town to visit, and both young and old can look forward to spending a fun day at Jesperhus Holiday Park.
