In the scenic holiday home area of Strandet, this lovely holiday house is ready to welcome you on a large, green plot. The road is closed to through traffic, so the immediate sur­ro­un­dings are peaceful – and eve­ryt­hing exudes tranquil­li­ty and idyll by Hjarbæk Fjord, which you can set out on in the house’s private canoe.

Welcome inside
The holiday home com­fortably ac­com­moda­tes up to four adults and two children thanks to its clever layout and fun­ctio­nal design. Two of the bedrooms are equipped with bunk beds and the third with two single beds. The bathroom has a shower, so you can start your day with a re­fres­hing rinse. You can begin preparing your coffee and breakfast in the galley kitchen, which opens up to the bright living room. If it’s chilly outside, you can turn on the heat pump and light the wood-burning stove before sitting down at the dining table. In summer, the heat pump also has a cooling function – and of course, you can open the patio door to let the fresh air flow in.

Enjoy life outside
The large windows in the living room give you a great view of the green garden, but when the weather is nice, there’s something special about moving all the way outside to enjoy the garden under the open sky. The south-facing tiled terrace is partially covered, and with garden furniture, a barbecue, and a spacious lawn, eve­ryt­hing is set for plenty of great moments. There’s also a carport on the 2,529 m² plot – and if you’re in the mood for a boat trip, you’ll be happy to know that a canoe (please bring your own life jackets) is included with the house.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The holiday home is just a few hundred metres from a shared boat launch, and thanks to the transport wheels provided, it’s easy to get the canoe from the house to the water. The holiday home area is beau­ti­ful­ly situated by Hjarbæk Fjord, and the region offers great op­portu­ni­ties for fishing, surfing, hiking, and enjoying nature in general. There are several charming marinas within a short distance – including Virksund, where you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce harbour life and enjoy an ice cream near the wa­ter­front. You can also head to Skive, which has a great surfing and boating scene as well as an im­pres­si­ve water park. Or set your course for the at­mosp­he­ric market town of Viborg or the family-friendly Jesperhus Flower Park.
