Modern quality holiday home with panoramic views of Skive Fjord and the coastline
House-ID: LF14198The surroundings alone are reason enough to spend your holiday in this holiday home, which is set high in the landscape with stunning panoramic views of the fjord and the green coastline. You're also just a short walk from Lyby Beach – and the house itself is a modern quality build with a wealth of attractive features.
Welcome inside
When the 93 m² holiday home was built in 2011, it was, of course, perfectly positioned on the plot to make the most of the fjord view. Through the large panoramic windows in the living room, you’ll enjoy a magnificent outlook over the water and the rolling coastal fields and forests – so even on days when you feel like curling up with a cup of tea and a good novel by the wood-burning stove, you’ll still have the spectacular natural surroundings as your backdrop. You can also see the water from the dining area, which is located right next to the open, well-equipped kitchen – a modern reinterpretation of a classic country kitchen. The bathroom is tastefully decorated with a freestanding bathtub on lion’s feet, as well as a shower, washing machine and underfloor heating. The three lovely bedrooms sleep six guests: in two of the rooms, the single beds have been pushed together to form double beds, but they can easily be separated depending on your needs.
Enjoy life outside
The 1,200 m² plot lets you fully enjoy the sun, the view, and the peaceful surroundings. There are several terraces around the house, including a partially covered south-west facing area that is perfectly positioned to face the water. Alternatively, you can sit on the east-facing side of the house or stretch out on the lawn with the day’s newspaper or a lifestyle magazine. You can park in the driveway or in the beautiful, integrated carport, and if you’ve brought bikes or other gear, there’s also a bike shed available.
Get up close to the local attractions
Lyby is a charming holiday area with a relaxed atmosphere. There’s a lovely beach with a long jetty, and just 700 metres away you’ll find a good restaurant beautifully located by the water. Windsurfing, swimming, and angling are natural activities when staying so close to the fjord, and if you prefer dry land, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the area on foot or by bike. The house has easy access to the market town of Skive, which offers a marina, great dining options, and a large waterpark – and well-known attractions such as Jesperhus Holiday Park and the medieval Spøttrup Castle are also within convenient reach.
