Hostrup Strand and Gyldendal Harbour are just a few hundred metres away when you spend your holiday in this well-renovated holiday home. Set high in the rolling landscape on a 1,000 m² plot sur­ro­un­ded by tall deciduous trees, it almost feels like a peaceful woodland retreat – all while being close to the Limfjord.

Welcome inside
This holiday home serves as a peaceful oasis for a relaxing getaway. When you’re not out enjoying the scenic sur­ro­un­dings, you can unwind indoors in neat and well-arranged rooms. The house has been renovated con­ti­nuous­ly since it was built – most recently in 2021, when all three bedrooms were refreshed. In addition to the sleeping quarters, the 65 m² home offers a bathroom with a shower and un­der­floor heating, as well as a combined kitchen and living room. The living area features a wood-burning stove and a heat pump, so you can easily create a cosy indoor climate even on chilly days. The TV with Chro­mecast is ready to entertain when it’s time to relax on the sofa.

Enjoy life outside
Several terraces surround the house, giving you plenty of outdoor seating options. One is covered and almost com­ple­te­ly enclosed, fun­ctio­ning as a sunroom that extends the outdoor season. In summer, it’s the perfect evening retreat if you want to enjoy the fresh air while staying sheltered. During the day, you can stretch out on the large open south-facing terrace, and by the back entrance, the raised terrace lets you lie back and gaze straight up into the treetops.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
From leafy No­bi­lis­vej, you can walk to Hostrup Strand in just a few minutes. In the high season, a bathing jetty is set up, and the calm waters are ideal for kayaking and stand-up pad­dle­bo­ar­ding. If you haven’t brought your own gear, you can rent it at the kayak club at Gyldendal Harbour. The charming little marina is just a short stroll away, perfect for watching the boats bobbing in the water, playing pétanque, or enjoying a good meal at the local re­stau­rant. Salling offers many wonderful nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces – for example, you can go birdwat­ching at Flyndersø, Denmark’s largest heath lake, or spot otters at Spøttrup Lake. From Vendal Høj, you’ll be rewarded with bre­ath­taking views over the Limfjord, Thyholm, and Venø Bay, while the protected Kås Peninsula offers great hiking trails.
