Bright and inviting holiday home in the first row to Limfjorden.
House-ID: LF10233The view is almost reason enough to choose this holiday home as your next vacation destination – who wouldn’t want to sit here with an unobstructed view of Skibsted Fjord and the beautiful coastlines of South Thy? The holiday home itself is also wonderful, being a bright and spacious property with a wood-burning stove in the living room, three good bedrooms, and an overall delightful atmosphere.
Welcome inside
You can enjoy the scenic surroundings right from the moment you wake up. One of the bedrooms has a beautiful view of the fjord, and in the living room, you can also admire the stunning landscape while sipping your coffee and sharing your first meal of the day with your loved ones. If it’s cool outside, you can light the wood stove before settling down with your book or knitting and relaxing in the sofa area. The kitchen is open to the living room, and it’s well-equipped for cooking, even if several of you want to enjoy cooking together.
Enjoy life outside
Not only from the living room, but also from two of the bedrooms, you have direct access to the terrace, so you can easily step outside when the sun and warm temperatures tempt you outdoors. The open terrace area extends around three sides of the house, and there are also two covered and well-screened sections – perfect for sitting if you need shade or want to seek shelter from the evening dew with your family. The lawn provides plenty of space for play and ball games, and whether it’s morning, noon, or evening, it’s lovely to sit on the bench at the end of the natural plot, almost right by the water’s edge.
Get up close to the local attractions
It feels exclusive to vacation in the first row to the water, and here in the small holiday home area, you can even enjoy the feeling of having the beautiful surroundings almost entirely to yourself. Hærvej ends in a dead end near the house, a detail that contributes to the peaceful atmosphere. Not only Skibsted Fjord but also Nissum Bredning is within walking distance, where you can take a lovely dip in Limfjorden – unless the waves of the North Sea are calling, in which case, you can drive to Agger in about 25 minutes. National Park Thy is worth a visit, but you may also choose to stay on Thyholm to experience the most local nature on foot or by bike.
