The farm "La­de­går­den" at the Tranekær castle on the island Langeland

Discover Tranekær Castle on Langeland at close range. Stay at the barn yard only a stone's throw from the castle where you can discover the park with many pieces of art created by nature and the beautiful sur­ro­un­ding nature. The building is now after a gentle update being used as a holiday ac­com­moda­tion for 22 adults and 2 children. Here you can enjoy a holiday with a touch of the wonderful at­mosp­he­re that the Danish castles and manor houses are sur­ro­un­ded by. For courses and meetings premises at the castle itself can be rented, and the palace hall can also be rented. The barn yard is 2-storeyed and contains on the ground floor a lounge with open fireplace and access to the large garden and the terrace, dining room with wooden floors, a large separate kitchen, 1 bedroom and a bathroom. On the 1st floor are a further 8 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The area

Tranekær is located on Northern Langeland in beautiful and peaceful sur­ro­un­dings with woods about 7 km north of Rudkøbing where there is a child-friendly beach. With its old timber-frames houses, Tranekær is worth a visit. The town is also known for the castle Tranekær Slot with the nice park and the mill Tranekær Slotsmølle where organic flour is being produced today.
