This house is called “Perlen,” and it is a very fitting name. It is truly a North Sea gem, beau­ti­ful­ly renovated and full of charm—and it even comes with a lovely gazebo in the idyllic garden. The location is also at­tra­cti­ve, as the entire property is in Lønstrup just a few hundred meters from the water.

Welcome inside
The house was carefully renovated in 2019, and indoors there is a wonderful balance between original details and modern updates. The result is a con­si­stent­ly inviting holiday home with bright and at­mosp­he­ric rooms that you will want to spend time in. One of the house’s charming features is that it is built on multiple levels, so from the kitchen-dining area there is an open con­nection via stairs down to a lovely living room with a wood-burning stove and views of the green garden. There are also stairs down to one of the three bedrooms, all furnished with com­fortab­le double beds. The layout also includes a bathroom and a utility room with a washing machine.

When the weather is mild or even summery, the gazebo serves as the perfect tran­si­tion between indoors and outdoors. Here you can play pool and darts or read a good book while enjoying the proximity to the garden. And if the breeze is a bit too cool to sit com­ple­te­ly outside, the gazebo is a lovely spot to relax on bright summer evenings.

Toften is a charming, small holiday home street located close to the old fishing village of Lønstrup as well as the North Sea. From the house, it is a short walk to the beach, where you can swim and walk along the coast while breathing in the fresh air and enjoying peace of mind. If you fancy a bite to eat, an ice cream, or a cold beer, you can stroll into Lønstrup, which has a good selection of eateries. The town is also known for its many galleries and working artist studios, so you can spend an afternoon exploring both local and in­ter­na­tio­nal art. If nature calls, you can venture out into the beautiful landscape sur­ro­un­ding Lønstrup—for example, a visit to Rubjerg Knude is highly recom­men­ded.
