Idyllic gem in the heart of Svinkløv Plan­ta­tion’s stunning nature

On the edge of Svinkløv Plan­ta­tion, you will find this gem of a holiday home. From the outside it charms with its thatched roof and mullioned windows, and indoors the bright and romantic interior style har­moni­ses beau­ti­ful­ly with the spirit of the house and its scenic sur­ro­un­dings.

Welcome inside

The 120 m² house has stood in the green landscape for more than a century, and in 2012 it was carefully mo­der­ni­sed so that it now functions as a very inviting holiday home for four people. The interior colour tones are con­si­stent­ly light, and in several rooms the wall colours are inspired by Svinkløv Badehotel, which is located nearby. The house’s old stove is a charming detail that has been kept in the kitchen as a reminder of the past.

Right next to it you will find excellent working con­di­tions in the modern kitchen, which is open to the house’s large and lovely living room. Here there is a wood-burning stove, a flat-screen TV and several cosy seating areas, including a long dining table that invites you to enjoy delicious meals and good con­ver­sa­tions. The layout also includes a beautiful bathroom and a practical utility room, in addition to three com­fortab­le bedrooms – two with double beds and the third with a pull-out bed for two people.

Enjoy life outside

The thatched holiday home fits perfectly into the large natural plot, which is decorated with trees and other beautiful ve­ge­ta­tion. Around the house there is a lawn, and from the living room you have direct access to a south-facing terrace. Here you will find garden furniture and sun loungers – as well as a parasol if you need shade on a warm summer day. In the evening you can light the grill and prepare an outdoor holiday meal in peaceful sur­ro­un­dings.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

A little set back from Svinkløvvej, the house is located in a small cluster with only four units. It feels exclusive to live right next to Svinkløv Plan­ta­tion, and it gives you the op­portu­ni­ty to start and end the day with a walk or run along the forested paths – for example towards Kapri­fo­lie­da­len or Svinkløvene, which offer the most beautiful views over Jam­mer­bug­ten.

There is also a chal­len­ging MTB route in the plan­ta­tion if you enjoy mountain biking, and of course you can also take it easy and spend the days relaxing on a beach blanket at Svinkløv Beach, oc­ca­sio­nal­ly in­ter­rup­ted by a re­fres­hing swim in the North Sea. A visit to Svinkløv Badehotel is almost a must, where you can enjoy afternoon cake or an exquisite meal in truly wonderful sur­ro­un­dings.

Remember that you can always borrow pull wagons, high chairs and baby cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Jam­mer­bugt. You can collect them directly from the office and return them once your holiday has come to an end.
