Welcome inside

This house is truly unique and offers excellent op­portu­ni­ties to ac­com­moda­te everyone during your holiday. The layout is thought­ful­ly designed with two bathrooms, po­si­tio­ned at opposite ends of the house. Each bathroom is connected to sleeping fa­ci­li­ties, making it ideal for two families tra­vel­ling together. In the centre of the house, you will find the large, well-equipped kitchen, where you can cook while still keeping up with eve­ryt­hing happening in the living room and around the spacious dining table. The living room and dining area are centrally located and connected to all other rooms – naturally becoming the heart of the home.

The house has also been designed with cosy to­get­her­ness in mind. One of the rooms near the kitchen is furnished as a small, inviting lounge where children can play cards, teenagers can use their computers, and adults can relax with a good book. There is space for everyone. Please note that this room includes a sofa bed, allowing it to be converted into an ad­di­tio­nal bedroom if desired. Sliding doors provide access to this room.

All bedrooms are spacious and offer plenty of room. Please note that four of the sleeping places are located on loft areas. These are perfect for younger guests and are easily accessed via fixed stairca­ses with open steps. The house also features a large spa bath, allowing you to truly unwind even while the bathroom’s other fa­ci­li­ties are in use. A wood-burning stove creates a cosy at­mosp­he­re on cool spring days, and internet access is, of course, available should you need it during your stay. For drivers, there is also the option to charge an electric car via a 16A CEE outlet.

Enjoy life outside

The outdoor setting of this house is simply ex­cep­tio­nal. The spacious terrace overlooks the small lake located on the property. There are fish in the lake, and you are welcome to try your luck, although the heron that frequents the lake is re­spon­sib­le for most of the catches. Between the holiday home and the lake, you will find a fire pit area where you can bake twist bread over the fire on a lovely summer evening. Small pathways lead to the pétanque court, and behind the house there is a charming pavilion that allows you to enjoy the mag­ni­fi­cent sur­ro­un­dings and nature even on rainy days.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Your holiday address is perfect if you are looking to relax in peaceful, green sur­ro­un­dings. The house is located at the end of a closed road, with direct access to trails leading into Vester Thorup Klit­plan­ta­ge, which offers several marked hiking routes and a wonderful nature play­gro­und. The scenic area is also ideal for cycling, with good cycle paths available. If you want to visit the beach, there is no need to bring out the bikes – the 1.3 ki­lo­metres to the North Sea can easily be covered on foot in about fifteen minutes. Walk a little further and you will reach Thorup Strand’s coastal landing site, where you can watch the fishing boats being pulled directly onto the beach. Here, you can also taste the fresh catch at the local fish house, which offers both fresh fish sales and a re­stau­rant.

Remember that you can always borrow pull wagons, high chairs and baby cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Jam­mer­bugt. You can collect them directly from the office and return them once your holiday has come to an end.
